Inspections and Its Benefits

An inspection is performed to ensure quality is maintained of various machinery and equipment in the oil, gas, and chemical industries. Different types of inspections are performed at different points during the process.

These inspections may be performed by different inspectors with proper certifications for their discipline. This needs to be strongly considered during the planning of Inspection Test Plans (ITP's) to have the right qualified inspector involved in your project. Who would really want a welding inspector to witness a performance test on a pump or a compressor without proper certifications? Not even the welding inspector really wants to do it, but they will check the box if asked. But what does this really get you in the long run.

These inspections are performed by individuals known as API inspectors. They must possess in-depth knowledge of standards and practices in the industry in order to be certified. This is where we fill in the gap. We provide certified Source Inspectors for Rotating Equipment (API SIRE).

We strive to provide a complete, comprehensive inspection service for rotating equipment. This means that, whether it is a new project, a package is being built to provide surveillance during overhauls or major repairs. We have you covered.

API inspection entails the following benefits:

Prevents Facing Problems

The significant advantage of API inspection is that the inspectors can identify potential problems long before they arise. In doing so, they won't only save your time, but money too. For instance, overlooking if proper test procedures or materials were used, can produce disastrous results. But you can avoid that with proper qualified inspectors.
